We are calling out to all who may want to help. Many have read the book Grandpa's Mission. If you haven't, it is about the fight for justice I had when my first Grandson was, I feel, murdered.
That battle was lost, but in many ways, it was won. Jonathan is in heaven now. Many of you know that when Jonathan was killed, my daughter was pregnant with my second Grandson. His name is Elijah and he is now five years old.
Elijah has had many ups and downs in his few years of life. I had moved to Puerto Rico, and have not seen him in over 1 year. It came to my attention that he was in foster care. I have been on and off the phone with social workers and without going into all the details as to why he is in a foster home, I must request a special help for him.
It seems that Elijah will be placed in adoption. Grandpa has first rights though, and my beautiful Puerto Rican wife, Maria (Maggie) and I have decided to raise him ourselves. With Maggie being a retired special education teacher, and our love for Eli, we know we can raise him properly.
We need to travel to Missouri (St Louis area) and file for custody. Elijah needs to see us and touch us. I have spoke with him on the phone, and he wants to be with Pawpaw.
We are not destitute, but we just don't have the funds to make the trip, a hotel and a rental car. The costs involved are somewhat high. Our income would probably get us there, but the place to stay and car may make it difficult. We also need to make sure we are there enough time to get everything right. We think two weeks will be enough.
I am asking for your help. I am installing a donate button.
You will be helping a little five year old boy named Elijah come be with his Pawpaw. A picture of him is below. It is older, but I will show more recent pictures when we get him home.
You can also help by purchasing any of the books we have published. Just go to Amazon books and search Greg Boudonck. If you want to know more about Jonathan, just google Froggy213 and Froggy's World at Hubpages. You can also google Jonathan Boudonck.
We appreciate if you can help financially. We also understand if you cannot. Prayers are always needed too, so please pray. With God for us, no one can come against us.
Grandchildren are the crown of the aged, and the pride of children is their parents.
